A Staged Reading of Henry IV

In its 17th season Merced Shakes presents a staged reading of “Henry IV, Part 1”, Shakespeare’s history about how fragile power can be, directed by Crystal Langley. A dozen actors, among them David Hambley as the king, Jim Bennett as his son Hal, and Michael Lynch as Falstaff will read the diverse roles; there will be treason, rebellion, and fun times at the tavern! It is presented only on Thursday, July 12, at 7:30 pm at the MAC 645 W. Main Street in downtown Merced. Tickets are $ 5 at the door.
