“Don Quixote de la Merced” reimagines the adventures of this famous knight errant with his trusty squire Sancho Panza as a bilingual adventure in modern day Merced. Filming was done in May of this year in back yards, parks, on Main Street, at the Farmers Market, at a local pub, in the foothills, and at the Merced River. Filled with tragedy, comedy, heroism and whimsy, this web series takes Cervantes' classic novel and brings the title character's unique sense of justice and adventure into the modern world.
